Este mês aconteceu em São Francisco o Startup World Cup 2019, evento organizado pela Fenox Venture Capital, que tem como objetivo lançar e assessorar a nova onda de empreendedores do mundo. Na competição, cerca de 30 mil startups de 40 países estavam inscritas entre elas, a brasileira Biosolvit, que ficou entre as 12 melhores startups do mundo.
Fundada em 2014, a Biosolvit atua no mercado de óleo e gás, produzindo barreiras de contenção, barreiras de absorção, absorvedores onshore e offshore, filtros, travesseiros, além de kits para indústrias, portos, aeroportos, rodovias, entre outras companhias. É dona do absorvedor natural mais eficiente, mais rápido e mais econômico do planeta. O produto é o único que permite a reutilização do óleo e o único natural que faz absorção offshore (no mar).

A Biosolvit também acaba de entrar, pelo segundo ano consecutivo, para o ranking “100 Startups to Watch”, que é uma amostra do que o Brasil tem de mais promissor em inovação.
